Description
An inhibitor of PCNA; inhibits protein-protein interactions between PCNA and a PIP-box-containing peptide (IC50 = 1 μM) as well as full-length p21; reduces cellular colocalization of PCNA and DNA polymerase δ; inhibits DNA replication and cell growth in U2OS and HeLa cells; induces cell cycle arrest at the S phase at 20 μM; increases cisplatin-induced DNA double strand break formation in a neutral comet assay and inhibition of clonogenic survival in HeLa and U2OS cells
