Description
A monolignol; a precursor in the biosynthesis of lignin; reduces LPS-induced production of nitrite, PGE2, and TNF-α in RAW 264.7 cells at 50, 100, and 200 µM; inhibits acetic acid-induced writhing and increases the latency to paw licking in the hot plate test in mice at 20 and 30 mg/kg
