A derivative of SAH; reduces viral infectivity in HEp-2 cells infected with HSV-1 at 1 mM; inhibits the RSV-induced oncogenic transformation of primary chicken embryo fibroblasts at 0.5 and 1 mM; decreases the number of metastases in a model of rhabdomyosarcoma in rats fed a low methionine diet at 15 mg/kg three times weekly
