A GABA derivative; increases parietal cortical blood flow in rats and rabbits at 50 mg/kg, i.p. and 10 mg/kg, i.v., respectively; increases latency to enter the dark compartment in the passive avoidance conditioned reflex test in rats at 10 mg/kg compared with control animals
