An antimicrobial peptide; active against various clinical isolates of bacteria from patients with diabetic foot infections, including S. aureus, MRSA, and P. aeruginosa (MICs = 16-32, 16-32, and 8-16 µg/ml, respectively); decreases lethality in a mouse model of sepsis induced by A. baumannii at 1 mg/kg
