Description
An HBV capsid assembly modulator; inhibits viral replication of HBV genotypes A-H in HepG2 2.2.15 cells (mean EC50s = 0.2-0.58 µM); inhibits the production of HBsAg, HBeAg, and HBV DNA in a primary human hepatocyte model of de novo HBV infection (EC50s = 4.8, 4.5, and 0.81 µM, respectively); reduces serum levels of HBV DNA in HBV-infected mice with humanized livers at 40 mg/kg twice per day
