Description
A DGAT1 inhibitor (IC50 = 57 nM); selective for DGAT1 over DGAT2, ACAT-1, and ACAT-2 (IC50s = >10,000 nM for all); inhibits HCV replication in HCV-infected Huh7.5 cells at 50 µM.; inhibits palmitic acid-induced apoptosis and increases in triglyceride levels in MIN6 cells; decreases serum triglyceride levels in an oral lipid tolerance test in dogs at 1 mg/kg
