Description
An anticancer nucleoside; induces ROS production, cellular ATP depletion, and apoptosis in HepG2 cells; reduces cyclin D1 and cyclin D2 levels, as well as induces cell cycle arrest at the G1 phase and apoptosis in patient-derived multiple myeloma cells at 10 µM; reduces tumor growth in OCI-My5 and RPMI-8226 myeloma mouse xenograft models
