Description
A protease inhibitor; inhibits neutrophil elastase at 5 µM; reduces the activity of HIV protease and caspase-3 by 70 and 68%, respectively, at 100 µM in cell-free assays; decreases Aβ40 and Aβ42 levels in HEK293 cells expressing wild-type and Swedish mutant APP (IC50s = ~30 µM for both)
