Description
A flavonoid glycoside with diverse biological activities; scavenges DPPH and ABTS radicals in cell-free assays (IC50s = 3.16 and 44.93 µg/ml, respectively); inhibits H. contortus egg hatching and larval development (EC50s = 431.5 and 55.61 µg/ml, respectively); induces lethality in C. elegans (EC50 = 342 µg/ml); inhibits rat lens aldose reductase (IC50 = 0.75 µg/ml) and reduces sorbitol accumulation in lenses, red blood cells, and sciatic nerve in a rat model of STZ-induced diabetes
