Description
An activator of Kv7.2; induces rubidium efflux in an agonist-induced rubidium efflux assay using CHO cells (EC50 = 0.38 µM for the human channel); inhibits rubidium efflux from CHO cells expressing the Kv7.1 (EC50 = 15 µM for the human channel); reduces seizure number and increases the current threshold for seizure induction by amygdala-kindling in rats at 30 mg/kg
