Description
A derivative of GLP-1 (7-36) amide; enhances insulin-induced phosphorylation of Akt in 3T3-L1 adipocytes at 100 nM in the presence of a DPP-4 inhibitor; reduces plasma levels of total cholesterol, triglycerides, free fatty acids, LDL, insulin, and leptin, as well as adipose tissue weight, in a mouse model of high-fat diet-induced obesity at 150 µg/kg; decreases blood glucose levels, food intake, and gastric emptying in non-obese and ob/ob mice at 3 mg/kg
