Description
An HDAC3 inhibitor (Ki = 29 µM); selective for HDAC3 over HDAC1 and HDAC2 (Kis = 6,300 and 5,100 nM, respectively; reduces cytokine-induced increases in apoptosis in rat INS-1E β cells at 10 µM; reduces plasma glucose levels in rats and increases plasma insulin levels in a rat model of type 2 diabetes at 5 mg/kg
