Description
Our Anti-S100A5 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N176/35. It is KO validated, detects mouse and rat S100A5, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC. - Protein S100A5 is encoded by the gene S100A5 and a member of the S100 family of proteins. S100A5 is a calcium-binding cytosolic proteins and is also a member of the damage-associated molecular pattern molecules (DAMPs) family, a group of proteins that are released from the extracellular or intracellular space following tissue injury or cell death. S100A5 is localized in the cytoplasm and implicated in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and extracellular signal transduction. S100A5 has been found in brain and kidney. Diseases associated with this gene include Astrocytoma. -
