Description
Our Anti-Rem2 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N324/2. It detects mouse and rat Rem2, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC. - Rad And Gem-Like GTP-Binding Protein 2 or GTP-binding protein REM 2 is encoded by the gene Rem2 and is a member of the small GTPase superfamily and the Rad/Rem/Rem2/Gem/Kir (RGK) subfamily. REM2 binds GTP and plays roles in diverse processes including modulation of calcium channel currents, (Ref Zheng JQ et al. 2007), mediation of excitatory and inhibitory synapse development (Ref: Paradis et al. 2007). REM2 is expressed in brain and kidney. Diseases associated with this gene include Long Qt Syndrome. -
