Description
Our carrier-free Anti-MiRP4 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N472/88. It detects human, mouse, and rat MiRP4, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC, WB. - Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily E regulatory subunit 5 is encoded by the gene KCNE5. KCNE5 is a member of the potassium channel KCNE family. KCNE5 is a potassium channel ancillary subunit that is essential for generation of some native K(+) currents by forming a heteromeric ion channel complex with voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channel pore-forming alpha subunits. KCNE5 functions as an inhibitory beta-subunit of the repolarizing cardiac potassium ion channel KCNQ1. KCNE5 is expressed in the heart, skeletal muscle, brain, spinal cord, and placenta. Diseases associated with KCNE5 include brugada syndrome and alport syndrome-intellectual disability-midface hypoplasia-elliptocytosis syndrome. -
