Description
Our Anti-Kv1.4 K+ channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone K13/31. It detects human, mouse, and rat Kv1.4 K+ channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, IP, WB. - Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A member 4 or Kv1.4 is encoded by the gene KCNA4. Kv1.4 is a potassium channel subunit is a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, shaker-related subfamily. Potassium channels form homotetrameric and heterotetrameric channels in the membrane with various other related proteins, including KCNA2, KCNA4, KCNA5, KCNA6, KCNA7. Kv1.4 is expressed in brain, and at lower levels in the testis, lung, kidney, colon, heart and adrenal tissue. In brain, Kv1.4 is located in the soma, dendrite and axon terminus of neurones in most regions of the brain. -
