Description
Our Anti-KChIP3 K+ channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone K66/38. It is KO validated, detects human, mouse, and rat KChIP3 K+ channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC. - Kchip3 potassium channel, also known as Kv channel-interacting protein 3, Kcnip3, DREantagonist modulator and Dream is a member of the family of voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channel-interacting proteins (KCNIPs), which belongs to the recoverin or neuronal calcium sensor (NCS) family branch of the EF-hand superfamily. Kchip3 is an integral subunit component of native Kv4 channel complexes that may regulate A-type currents and function as a calcium regulated transcriptional repressor. Kchip3 is detected in brain, specifically in the cortex, thalamus, dentate gyrus and cerebellum and can be found throughout the cell. It is also found in other tissues at low levels. Diseases associated with KCNIP3 include alzheimer disease. -
