Description
A chalcone with diverse biological activities; reduces colony formation and induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase in HCC827 cells at 12 µM; Methylisoliquiritigenin induces ROS production and mitochondrial membrane depolarization in HCC827 cells; inhibits UV radiation-induced increases in dorsal skin thickness in mice when applied topically at 0.5 or 1 µmol/mouse; decreases tumor volume and weight in a SK-MEL-2 melanoma mouse xenograft model at 10 or 20 mg/kg
