Description
A bicyclic monoterpene; a positive allosteric modulator of α1β2γ2L subunit-containing GABAA receptors (EC50 = 237 µM); increases the latency to first pentylenetetrazole- and maximal electroshock-induced seizure in mice at 50, 100, and 200 mg/kg; increases the permeability of the blood-brain barrier and increases the concentration of cisplatin reaching tumors in a mouse model of glioblastoma multiforme at 300 mg/kg
