PI(3)K Inhibitor with an Interesting Profile. Potent, cell permeable and ATP-competitive inhibitor
of DNA-PK, phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI(3)K), the rapamycin-sensitive (mTORC1) and
rapamycin-insensitive (mTORC2) complexes of the protein kinase mTOR. Exhibits little activity
towards a panel of more than 40 other kinases even at concentrations as high as 10μM. Effectively
blocks cell proliferation in glioma cell lines both in vitro and in vivo.

PI(3)K Inhibitor with Antitumor Activity. Cell permeable, reversible, potent and specific
inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (IC50=17nM for PI(3)K p110β, IC50=53nM for
PI(3)K p110γ and IC50=6nM for PI(3)K p110δ). Blocks cellular PI(3)K/Akt signalling in vitro and
inhibits Akt-dependent tumor growth in mice in vivo without significant toxic effect. More
