Description
A peptide agonist of GnRH; binds to GnRHR (Kd = 0.2 nM); decreases GnRH and GnRHR expression in the preoptic area and pMBH, respectively, of ovariectomized estradiol-treated rats at 6 ng, i.c.v., indicating an ultrashort negative feedback loop; induces desensitization in the pituitary and decreases serum estradiol levels and ovarian and uterine weight in neonatal and adult female rats; reduces tumor growth in an HEC-1-B mouse xenograft model at 20, 40, and 80 µg/mg
