The BioArray HighYield RNA Transcript Labeling Kit is commonly used in conjunction with Affymetrix GeneChip arrays and other gene expression analysis platforms. BioArray cDNA Synthesis Kit

The Enzo BioArray cDNA Synthesis Kit provides an optimized protocol and reagents for the synthesis and purification of double-stranded cDNA from total cellular RNA samples. The polyA+ mRNA in the total RNA is primed with a T7-oligo-dT primer to synthesize the first strand of cDNA which proceeds by the action of reverse transcriptase.  Second strand synthesis is accomplished by the combined activity of RNase H and DNA polymerase.  The cDNA purification kit, included with the cDNA synthesis kit, removes nucleotides, primers, enzymes and salts.  The resulting purified T7-promoter containing double-stranded cDNA can be used as template for in vitro transcription with T7 RNA polymerase.

The CGH Labeling Kit for BAC Arrays has been optimized to label DNA for dual sample comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) assays on BAC arrays.  This kit is specifically tailored to provide the flexibility required by different laboratories and supplies sufficient reagents for two different protocols.  For the average user, the Standard Protocol calls for a 4 hour labeling in a 50 ul reaction volume.  For users with dilute DNA (less than 20 ng/uL) or who prefer an overnight labeling step, the Dilute DNA Protocol calls for a 16-hr labeling in a total volume of 100 ul. Genomic DNA Amplification: BioScore Screening and Amplification Kit

The BioScoreTM Screening and Amplification kit is a rapid and reliable method to determine the quality of genomic DNA isolated from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples before use in array-based genome-wide copy number analysis and other genomic profiling applications. This dual purpose kit utilizes a novel whole genome amplification (WGA) method to identify genomic DNA samples that are suitable for microarray analysis prior to labeling and to predict sample performance with virtually 100% concordance.  After prescreening, the amplified genomic DNA can then be used in genomic profiling assays such as array analysis.

Cyanine-3-dUTP, 25 nmol

Cyanine-3-dUTP, 1mM, is a highly fluorescent nucleotide analog that can be incorporated by a variety of DNA polymerases. It is ideal for labeling DNA probes, oligodeoxynucleotides and other nucleic acids where it replaces TTP in reactions catalyzed by E. coli DNA polymerase I (holoenzyme and Klenow fragment), T4 DNA polymerase, Taq DNA polymerase, and Mu-MLV and AMV reverse transcriptases. It can also be incorporated in 3'-terminal labeling reactions using terminal deoxynucleotide transferase. Cyanine labeled DNA can be produced by reverse transcription, nick translation, random primed labeling and 3'-terminal labeling reactions. The GeneBeam Cyanine-3-dUTP, which fluoresces in the orange region of the spectrum, is a useful label for multicolor analyses.
